I am seeing great recipes on TV, most involve mushrooms
I don’t eat mushrooms, of any kind
What could be used as substitute for no less taste?

In my years of cooking, I have found people who don’t like mushrooms have actually never tried them. They hear ‘fungus’ and freak out.
Mushrooms are fabulous and if any Recipe calls for them, there is a reason. They are KEY and not just a throw in spice.
There really is no sub.
A co-worker once gave me a bunch of morrells that went for $50 a pound because she didn’t like mushrooms.
