Some good Dinner Ideas?

Does anyone have some good suggestions for a few Meals to eat at dinner? Something that’s already pre-made or something you have to make yourself, doesn’t matter, I would just like it to be somewhat easy to make.

Don’t call take-out, save your money… as long as you have a few ingredients on hand – this will be perfect (and it’s delicious to boot!)

Known as a dinner dish, it’s also great for breakfast, brunch or lunch too.

Hash Brown Potato Casserole Recipe #1 – Easy

(see further down #2 = Super Easy)

* 32 oz (small) bag hash browns (thawed) – in freezer section of grocery store
* 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
* 1 cup sour cream
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter
* 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 medium onion diced (or 2 Tablespoons dried onion flakes)
* 2 cups crushed cornflakes
* 1/4 cup melted margarine (or butter)

Preheat oven to 350°F – Grease 13 x 9″ baking dish

1. Combine all ingredients except cornflakes and 2nd portion of margarine.
2. Spoon into baking dish.
3. Combine cornflakes & margarine
4. Sprinkle over potatoes
5. Bake 45min or until bubbly – Serves 12

We serve in squares like lasagna, it reheats beautifully

SUPER EASY Hash Brown Potato Casserole Recipe #2 – main course

* 32 oz (small) bag hash browns (thawed) – in freezer section of grocery store
* 1 can chicken a la king (found in the soup/stew section)
* 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
* 2 Tablespoons dried onion flakes
* 2 cups crushed cornflakes
* 1/4 cup melted margarine (or butter)

Preheat oven to 350°F – Grease 13 x 9″ baking dish

1. Combine all ingredients except cornflakes and margarine.
2. Spoon into baking dish.
3. Combine cornflakes & margarine
4. Sprinkle over potatoes
5. Bake 45min or until bubbly – Serves 12

Hubby loves this one, as the extra veggies & chunks of chicken are nice. Seems to have even more flavour.
